David was born and raised in Valencia, Venezuela, and came to the USA in the fall of 2017. In Venezuela, David trained as an anaesthesiologist at  Universidad Fransicso de Miranda, after earning his medical degree in 2001 from Universidad de Carabobo. David has been a member of The Immigration Project’s intakes team since the Spring of 2020,  and was initially interested in working with TIP because he is passionate about helping people in need.  In his free time, David enjoys sports.
