Portrait of Board member Monica Rondone.

Monica was born and raised in Chicago. She graduated from Illinois State University with Bachelors of Science degrees in Finance and Economics. She also graduated from Cannon Trust School, where she earned the Certified Trust and Financial Advisor designation. Monica has over 26 years of trust/banking experience, along with bookkeeping/accounting experience.  After serving six years on the Board of Directors of the YWCA McLean County, four of which as Board Treasurer and Finance Committee Chairperson, Monica proudly joined the staff of the YW as Director of Finance, a position she’s had for the last three years.  Her lovely family includes, her husband, three daughters, son-in-law and two utterly spectacular grandsons. When she is not spending time with her family, she loves reading mystery novels, and watching classic movies or British shows on PBS. She also loves the needle arts, knitting, crocheting, and quilting. Lastly, Monica is extremely honored to be a part of The Immigration Project and will work diligently to further our mission.
